About Our Project |
The Homes:
- One bedroom/one bath: 700 sq ft, flat over flat
- Two bedroom/one bath: 900 sq ft, flat over flat
- Three bedroom/two bath: 1100 sq ft, townhouse
- Three bedroom/three bath: 1300 sq ft, townhouse
- Four bedroom/three bath: 1450 sq ft, townhouse
The Common House:
- 4000 sq ft common house, all rooms on ground floor (flats on 2d floor)
- Southeast wing: Great room (dining, meeting), kitchen, pantry, toddler playroom, laundry, two flex rooms (currently planned for private dining and kids room)
- Northwest wing: Three guest/flex rooms, large meeting room, office
- Wrap-around porch and breezeway for outdoor dining, mail delivery
The Common Green:
- Pedestrian walkways, trails
- Wooded green with wetpond
- Triangle green for community activities
- Permaculture landscaping, distributed gardens
- Rainwater collection/irrigation system
- Playscape
- Nonchlorinated swimming pool
- Dog run
Our tent was set up at the future
location of our common house.
We had an overflow crowd all afternoon!
Tours left . . .
. . . and tours returned.
The kids had a good time too.
Time out for a good book.
The site has plenty of room for recreation . . .
. . . and lots of places to explore.
